Winner of the European Securifor contest [21-11-2007]
Belgian architects Callewaert-Creupelant have won the Betafence European Securifor contest.
 We launched this contest in 2007 in our own magazine Forum, which is send to the professional fencing sector in several European countries.
The goal of this contest was to find creative applications of our Securifor panel fencing system.
The choice for this edition's winner fell on Belgian architects Callewaert-Creupelant. They renovated a bowling complex in the town of Blankenberge.
The concrete building has been finished on the outside with a second transparent façade made out of Securifor panels fixed on rectangular posts.
A specific lighting has been placed between the concrete wall and the Securifor-façade.
This way the complex oozes a special kind of character by night and it is sure to catch the public’s eye, situated where it is, along the busy Koning Albert I-laan.
So, congratulations to this year's winners. We hope this inspires many others to use our products in creative applications.
