The new Antwerp court building is a glass house, which wishes to project hospitality and accessibility.
Originally there was no fencing planned. The courtyards were an extension of the park and would be freely accessible. Considering safety and prevention of vandalism the Ministry of Justice demanded that a fence be provided in a second phase. The Betafence Securifor panel with rectangular post and cover plate was chosen. The security price-quality ratio and aesthetic considerations were decisive. The various entrances were equipped with automated Bekamatic gates, secure cantilever Robusta sliding gates and secure Securifor turnstiles.Fencing and gates join seamlessly. The small mesh of the Securifor fencing also has a deterrent effect on possible intruders.
And so Betafence will from now on contribute to a greater feeling of safety in Antwerp.
