With the Formula 1 season already in progress there were still many measures to be taken to prepare the Bahrain track for the Grand Prix.
Amongst others a sliding gate was required to close the truckentrance for the racing teams securely. The track managers were aware of the reputation of quality of Betafence products and asked the project team to conceive an efficient and durable solution. After studying the specific situation the team opted for a Robusta sliding gate.The right choice considering the relatively challenging and demanding circumstances: the track is specifically situated in a desert region (sand, high temperatures, etc.)
The project was completed successfully despite the time pressure. To the great satisfaction of the customer, who ordered additional fencing from Betafence a year later.
