SECURIFOR 3D - VIRGINIA AIRPORT - SOUTH AFRICA

Virginia Airport is a private coastal airport situated about 10km North of Durban the largest city in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It primarily serves as a training ground for pilots and boasts of having one of the oldest flying clubs in the country. Various flight charter companies also operate from here. It covers approximately 29.6 hectares and currently contains a 925-meter runway, a terminal building, a fire station, and 16 hangars as well as administrative buildings. Its Easterly border is on a beach making corrosion a major consideration when a fence was chosen.

Betafence's Securifor flat panels with a ZincAlu Super basecoat and additional PVC coating provides the required physical security barrier and corrosion protection to secure the airport.
